Regular watering is essential for these pretty plants, they are native to tropical, humid environments. Depending on the weather and environment you may need to water weekly, less water is needed in the cooler months. Overwatering is the main cause of problems with palms.
2.png3.45 KB POSITION
Palms require bright, indirect light to thrive. As their natural habitat is ground cover in the rainforest they prefer a sheltered position not in direct sunlight. If the leaves lose their vibrancy, they may be placed in a spot that is too bright so move them somewhere with more diffuse light. Avoid cold draughts as this take away from the humidity they require to thrive.

Fertilize: Feed with indoor plant fertilizer according to directions on the packet during spring and summer.
Prune: Trim off dead or damaged leaves so the plant can refocus its energy to healthy leaves and new growth. Do not cut the central growing tip of the palm as this will cause the plant to die.
