Water weekly during the warmer months, check that the soil is drying out between each watering as too much water will turn the leaves yellow. Check 3-4 inches deep in the soil, if the soil is still wet hold off on watering. In the colder months there can be longer spaces between watering (up to 2 weeks usually). Water the soil not the leaves and an occasional wipe down with a damp cloth will keep your plant happy and dust free.

Fiddle Leaf Figs prefer bright indirect or filtered light when kept indoors. Be careful of direct sunlight as it can scald the leaves, remove any dead or damaged leaves if this happens. The plant can be rotated once a month or on every watering cycle to ensure all sides get even amounts of sun. Avoid areas with a draft such as next to a doorway, open window or air vent. Do not move the plant too often, except for watering, Fiddle Leaf Figs prefer a singular location with a consistent light source.

Fertilize: For ongoing care of your Fiddle Leaf Fig Plant add indoor plant fertilizer during the active growing months in summer to keep your plant happy and healthy.
Prune: When the plant starts to look too top heavy, it is a good idea for a prune! Prune between leaf nodes to promote new growth.
Repotting: Repotting will shock the plant so avoid doing so unless necessary. The Fiddle Leaf Fig needs to be repotted if:
Roots start growing out the bottom of the pot
Roots start growing near the top of the soil
The soil has lifted away from all sides of the pot
The plant has a bacterial infection
In 1-2 years where there is no more significant growth/plant
